Analysis of Correlation between Waste Accumulation and Countries Welfare Level

Abstract The article considers the results of countries analysis by progressiveness degree waste management based on correlation between changes in volume accumulation and indicators wealth. author’s novelty is systematization quantitative qualitative criteria for grouping effectiveness handling system. As a result comparative analysis, three groups are presented: “Green” - European with small population high level welfare, an effective system positive decoupling effect, but there problem increasing per capita (Denmark, Sweden Belgium). “Yellow” group consist large Japan, where less capita, responsible approach to recycling limiting plastic, proportional growth welfare waste. “Red” includes total volume, inefficient low (China, USA Russia). study showed that introduction (collection, recycling, culture) can be reduced change index personal at same time increase gross domestic product (per capita).
